About the Mission: | The Patriot Guard Riders will stand in silent honor for the life and service of Arthur William Crawmer. Arthur served as a member of Company D, 21st Infantry Division while in Korea, where he was wounded in battle and missing in action for ten days. In recognition of his military service and wounds received, Arthur was awarded a Purple Heart, the Army of Occupation Medal for Japan, Distinguished B-Unit Citation, the United Nations Medal for the Korean Campaign and a Combat Infantry Badge. Special Information: | Staging at the funeral home with flag line for dignified transfer. Estimated departure for Saratoga National Cemetery is 12:00 pm. Family members will stage directly at the cemetery. |
