Please join us to honor US Army Veteran Specialist Fourth Class Daniel C. Masters, whose tragic death can be attributed, in part, to Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome from his service as an infantryman in Iraq.

Staging at the Funeral Home is 3:15 p.m. Park at Action State Roller Rink just two lots south of the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, March 10, 2011 at the funeral home.
Staging at Funeral Home is 9:15 a.m. Park at Action State Roller Rink.
The flag lines may be inside the funeral home vestibule depending on the weather.
Burial is at Syracuse Veterans Cemetery 11:15 a.m. Thursday. The PGR involvement at the cemetery is uncertain at present.

(Excerpt from his obituary) “Daniel joined the Army in 2006 and served with the 101st Airborne as a Specialist E-4 in the Iraqi war for more than a year where he learned to fully understand the meaning of TEAM.
“Since his honorable discharge in 2010, he had been residing with his mother and his step father where he had been battling Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome.
“He is survived by his parents Robert Masters of Camillus and Jean (Tom) Herbert of Mattydale, his wife Karen of Tennessee, a daughter Kaylie Brea of Tennessee, and his brother Nate (Marnie Kortrite) Masters of Warners.”
Our presence at these services is very important to Daniel’s mother, who personally invited us.
