Honor and Remember
Cpl Nicholas K. Uzenski
United State Marine Corps
Franklin, NY - 11/08/2019
Mission applies to the following Region(s): Region 3, Region 4, Region 5
About the Mission: On January 11, 2010, USMC Cpl Nicholas K. Uzenski, 21, was one of 3 Marines that were killed by hostile fire while in support of combat operations in Now Zad, Afghanistan.

William Uzenski, Nicholas' father, of Bozeman, MT, had him interred with full military honors in Bozeman, Montana.

However, Cpl Uzenski grew up in the Town of Franklin, NY and his mother, Lisa, currently resides in the area. The Patriot Guard Riders of Montana commissioned an Honor and Remember flag for presentation to Nicholas' Gold Star mom, Lisa.

The Honor and Remember flag is currently in the possession of the Patriot Guard Riders of NY and the PGR NY will be part of a Veterans Day ceremony to make the flag presentation to Lisa Uzenski.
