ABOUT THE MISSION:
The PGR has been asked to stand in honor of Mr. David Hendrix’s service to America. Mr. Hendrix was a US Army veteran. Mr. Hendrix’s service occurred during the Vietnam War. He served in-country and was affected by Agent Orange.
Mr. Hendrix served in B Company, 15th Battalion, 1st Air Cavalry. He enlisted with the army in 1966 and fought in Vietnam as part of helicopter crews. After finishing his tour of duty, Mr. Hendrix continued to serve as a member of the Army Reserve. He left service in 1972.

During his service Mr. Hendrix earned: Vietnam Service Medal (VSM), Vietnam Campaign Medal (VCM), National Defense Service Medal (NDSM), Army Combat Badge (ACB), Army Commendation Medal (ARCOM), Aircraft Crewman Badge, 2 Overseas Bars, and Sharpshooter on the m-14 (SPS M-14).

Special Instructions:
Staging for arrival of the deceased and family.
Services are scheduled for 15:00 at the memorial shelter.
There will be a military honor guard participating.
We will stand a flag line for the arrival of the hearse and family.
PGR will escort the remains and family from the entrance to the memorial shelter.
PGR will perform a dignified transfer of Mr. Hendrix to the memorial shelter with the military honor guard.
PGR will participate in rendering honors with the military honor guard during the service.
Following the service and after the family leaves the memorial shelter PGR will render a final salute as a group.
