About the Mission:

The family of William E. Whyland, United States Marine Corps, has requested the Patriot Guard to stand a flag line for his service on Friday December 6th. "Butch" served in Vietnam with the Marines and was an Onondaga County Sheriff, Medic and Volunteer Fireman. He was also a founding member of the W.A.V.E.S. Ambulance Corps. William was an avid outdoors man as well. Please stand with me to honor William's service to his country, at his final farewell.
