Honor Mission
Frank L. Phillips
US Army -  Korean War Veteran
Niagara Falls, NY - 06/18/2020

Mission applies to the following Region(s): Region 1
About the Mission:

Frank graduated from Trott Vocational High School.  He served proudly as a Medic in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict from 1951 until his honorable discharge in 1953.  Frank was a co-owner of C & I Roofing, where he worked for over 30 years.

Frank was a member of the Cristoforo Colombo Society, Knights of Columbus, The Niagara Catholic Men’s Club, and was a member and Eucharistic Minister at Prince of Peace Church.  In addition, Frank enjoyed participating in the Ashland Avenue Reunion.  He enjoyed bowling, golf, fishing, and dancing the jitterbug in his younger years. Frank was an avid New York Yankees and Buffalo Bills fan, and loved to share stories of his youth to anyone that would listen.  Frank was affectionately called the Mayor, as everywhere that he went he would know someone.

This narrative was obtained from the M. J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel obituary.
