ABOUT THE MISSION:
We have been requested to assist in Honoring the career Military and Law Enforcement Service of Donald M. Harvey, who passed away on June 6th. Detailed information is pending, but we know Mr. Harvey served in the U.S. Navy and Naval Reserves for 25 years, retiring in 1994. His rating was Radioman First Class, and he was attached to the Buffalo Reserve Center Unit ACU-2. Mr. Harvey also served a 20-year career (1968-1988)as an Officer with the Niagara Falls Police Department, and also served locally as an EMT. Special Instructions:
This is a Celebration of Life for Mr. Harvey, in lieu of calling hours, funeral and interment. Flag Line for arrival of family and friends. Celebration period is 2:00-5:00 PM, with Military/Police Honors Ceremony at approx. 3:00-3:30. It is planned that PGR will be dismissed following the Honors. It is anticipated that this will be a high-profile Mission. Please consider giving some time on Sunday to ensure there is a decent PGR presence. SPECIAL NOTE: The daughter of Mr. Harvey - Lori Harvey - currently serves with the US Naval Reserves Unit ACU-2, and was one of the U.S. Navy Honor Guards at our Mission in Angola on Wednesday for Navy Veteran James Wasiela. Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American Flag or U.S. Navy flag, and dress for the weather.
