ABOUT THE MISSION:

We have been requested to stand in honor of a WWII Veteran Thorvald Jensen. Mr. Jensen enlisted in the Air Force at age 17 with the blessing of his employer, his pastor and his high school principal. He started his service in October of 1944 and ended his service in December of 1946. During this time he earned the rank of corporal and the American Theater Ribbon along with WWII Victory Medal.
