About the Mission:

The family of William Spaulding has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to attend his funeral service. Mr. Spaulding served our country for 8 years in the Army National Guard at Fort Drum. William was honorably discharged in in 1964 with the rank of E-4, Personnel Specialist. Mr. Spaulding was a 28 year employee of Kodak and drove school bus for the Churchville-Chili School District for 15 years. Bill loved all sports including coaching his son's little league teams. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks in Carthage and the American Legion Post 1830 in Chili. He was a member of the congregation of St. Christopher's Church.

  • * ADDITIONAL MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Wearing a protective face covering of some kind is required...homemade facemask, bandanna, etc. (Patriotic face coverings would be particularly appropriate) This will not only provide an extra layer of protection to ourselves and others, but will send the message that the PGR takes this crisis seriously and is performing this Mission responsibly.
Special Information: We will do a Flag Line for dignified transfer at the funeral home at 9 AM. An escort will follow to St Joseph's Cemetery 5355 Ellicott St., Batavia, NY 14020.

Weather is expected to be in the high 60's
There is no LEO escort or MC escort for this mission, all traffic laws are to be followed.
