About the Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to satnd in honor of the life and service of Thomas Edward MaGuire, Jr..  This Seaman First Class, a veterand of WWII, passed on 16 January 2020.He served during 1945-46.  Mr. Maguire served aboard USS Antieam, an Essex Class Aircraft Carrier. earning: American Campaign Medal; WWII Victory Medal; WWII Honorable Service Pin; and the Navy Sea Service Commemorative Medal.His internment has now been scheduled.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:
IMPORTANT

The Mandatory Rules for Covid-19 protection practices...these WILL be strictly enforced.

  • Stay a minimum of 6 feet apart from each other at all times.
  • No handshaking, fist-bumping, hugs, cheek kissing or any other physical contact.
  • Follow all Covid-19 protection practices as described on the CDC website.

  • If you are not feeling well in any way, please do not attend this Mission.
  • * ADDITIONAL MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Wearing a protective face covering of some kind is required...homemade facemask, bandanna, etc. (Patriotic face coverings would be particularly appropriate) This will not only provide an extra layer of protection to ourselves and others, but will send the message that the PGR takes this crisis seriously and is performing this Mission responsibly.
Special Information: Patriot Guard Riders shall stand in his honor at the cemetery for his service.  There is no escort involved.  This mission will be short in nature however the weather promises to be extremely hot! Please dress for conditions and bring water as it will not be provided.
