ABOUT THE MISSION:
We have a very short notice request to stand in Honor of WW-II Veteran Robert V. Smith of Canaseraga, who passed away on May 21st at the age of 96.
Mr. Smith began his Military Service at the age of 15 when he joined the 148th Infantry Regiment of the Ohio National Guard. He then served in the U.S. Army from 1940-1945, including service with the 712th Military Battalion. Honorably Discharged in 1945, Mr Smith earned the Army Good Conduct Medal; American Campaign Medal; Asiatic- Pacific Campaign Medal; and the WW-II Victory Medal. Mr. Smith then served Honorably in the U.S. Air Force Reserves from 1950-1953.

SPECIAL NOTE: Mr. Stevens is the Grandfather of longtime Texas PGR Member Amy Weber of Dallas, Texas. Amy has been a very devoted PGR Member for many years, and this is our opportunity to stand in support of her and her family. Some of you may have participated in the Mission a few years ago for Amy's Stepfather, Denny Coates, in Canaseraga.

Followed by Escort to Canaseraga Cemetery,
Canaseraga, NY.
Interment with Military Honors.
Please arrive on time with a clean 3x5 American
Flag or US Army flag, and dress for the weather.
Please consider flying your large bike flags for the
escort, and ensure they are properly placed and
securely attached.
Acknowledging that this is a very busy weekend,
your participation will go a long ways in providing
proper Honor for the Service of Robert Smith, and
support for Texas PGR Member Amy Weber and
her family.
