ABOUT THE MISSION:

We have a short notice Request to stand in Honor of the WWII Service of Richard Pyne, who passed away on August 23rd. Mr. Pyne served 3 years in the U.S. Army, including 17 months in the Asia Pacific Theater. Assigned to Headquarters Battery, 98th Artillery Division as a Chaplain's Assistant. Mr. Pyne was Honorably Discharged on 3 March 1946 with the rank of Technician 4th Grade, and was awarded the following: Army Good Conduct Medal; American Campaign Medal; Asian-Pacific Campaign Medal; WWII Victory Medal.

Dignified Escort to Leo the Great Church, 885 Sweet Home Road, Amherst, NY. 14226.
Funeral Service at 9:00 AM.
Followed by Escort to Queen of Heaven Cemetery for Burial with Military Honors.
Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American Flag or US Army flag, dress for the weather, and bring a beverage for hydration.
Please ensure your large bike flags are properly placed and securely attached.
