About the Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to stand in honor of the life and service of Raymond P. Kegler. Mr. Kegler entered the U.S. Army Air Force on 22 April 1943 and was honorably discharged on 15 Jan 1946 at the rank of Corporal. He was assigned to the 1596th Army Air Force Base Unit as an Aerial Engineer, and earned the following: American Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and World War II Victory Medal

  • * ADDITIONAL MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Wearing a protective face covering of some kind is required...homemade facemask, bandanna, etc. (Patriotic face coverings would be particularly appropriate) This will not only provide an extra layer of protection to ourselves and others, but will send the message that the PGR takes this crisis seriously and is performing this Mission responsibly.
Special Information: Flag line for arrival of family and friends from 10:00 hrs to 11:00 hrs, followed by a procession to Holy Cross Cemetery in Lackawanna, New York 14218. Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American Flag and dress for the weather. Please consider participating in honoring the military service of Raymond P Kegler and to support his loving family.
