About the Mission:

The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to stand in Honor of the life and service of Raymond L. Stroh of West Seneca, who passed away on 5 February 2020.

Mr. Stroh served 3 years active duty in the US Army Transportation Corps from 1943-1946, including 31 months in the Pacific Theater of Operations. He was attached to the 491st Port Battalion, with an MOS of 271-Longshoreman, and he was involved in the New Guinea Campaign. Mr. Stroh was Honorably Discharged on 24 January 1946 with the rank of Corporal (E-4), and earned the following awards: Army Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal w/1 Bronze Campaign Star, WWII Victory Medal, and Rifle Marksman Badge.

Prayer Service at 9:00 am.
Followed by Dignified Transfer and escort to Fourteen Holy Helpers Church, 1350 Indian Church Road.
Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am.
Followed by escort to Union Cemetery for Interment with Military Honors.
Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American or US Army flag, and dress for the weather.
