About the Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to stand in honor of the life and service of Air Force Veteran Raymond J. Vorburger of Tonawanda, who passed away on 17 February 2020.

Mr. Vorburger served a total of 18 years in the US Air Force and Air National Guard, including 3 years active duty. His Air Force Specialty was 62270-Food Service Supervisor, and in 1968-1969 he served 10 months in Korea with the 107th Combat Support Squadron, Pacific Air Force. Mr. Vorburger was honorably discharged on 11 June 1969 with the rank of Master Sergeant (E-7), and his awards included the Air Force Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal and Air Force Expeditionary Medal-Korea.

Special Information: Flag Line for arrival of family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM, followed by dignified transfer and escort to Mt. Olivet Cemetery for interment with military honors.

Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American or US Air Force flag, and dress for the weather.
