ABOUT THE MISSION:
We have the distinct Honor of being requested to stand for a True American Hero. Nicholas Alan Warden was killed on 7 July 2017 in Syria while battling against ISIS as a volunteer, fighting alongside the Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG). Prior to his volunteer fighting, Nicholas served our Nation in the U.S. Army for over 4-1/2 years (2007-2011) as a Infantryman, including 24 months of Deployments. Honorably Discharged on 3 November 2011 with a rank of Sergeant (E-5), Nicholas earned the following awards: Army Commendation Medal w/V Device; Army Commendation Medal; Army Achievement Medal; Army Good Conduct Medal; National Defense Service Medal; Afghanistan Campaign Medal w/2 Campaign Stars; Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; Army Service Ribbon; NATO Medal; Combat Infantryman Badge.
