Martin R. Pisano, Veteran

ABOUT THE MISSION:

We have been requested to participate in Honoring the Military Service of Martin R. "Marty" Pisano of Wellsville, who passed away on May 28th. Mr. Pisano served Active Duty in the U.S. Air Force from 1960-1966, with an Air Force Specialty Number of 73250 - Personnel Specialist. His service included 6 months in Vietnam with the 6236th Combat Support Squadron, 13th Air Force. He was Honorably Discharged on 8 June 1966 with the rank of Airman 1st Class (E-4.) For his Service to our Nation, A1C Pisano was awarded: Air Force Commendation Medal; Air Force Longevity Service Award Ribbon; Vietnam Service Medal; Vietnam Campaign Medal.

Followed by Escort to St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany, NY.
Interment with Military Honors.

Please arrive on time in preparation for the Escort, and ensure your large bike flags are properly placed and very securely attached for the 32-mile trip at highway speeds.
Please dress for the weather. Please be prepared with a clean 3x5 American Flag or US Air Force flag for the Flag Lines.
If you are unable to participate in the Escort, please consider staging at the Church at 10:15 AM and form a Flag Line for arrival of the contingent.
NOTE: We have a double Mission in West Seneca Thursday morning for two Veterans. Please do whatever you're able to help support one of these Missions.

Flags Will NOT Be Provided, Please Bring Your Own.
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.
