|About the Mission:||The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to stand in Honor of the life and service of Martin E. Nowak, who passed away on 8 June 2020.
Mr. Nowak served almost 3 years of active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1966-1969, including 13 months of duty in Vietnam. His MOS was 1443-Surveyor, and he was attached to Headquarters Company, 7th Engineer Support Battalion, III Marine Amphibious Force. Mr. Nowak was Honorably Discharged on 18 March 1969 with the rank of Corporal (E-4), and he earned the following: National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/2 Bronze Service Stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal and Rifle Sharpshooter Badge.
