About the Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to stand in honor of the life and service of Linda Marie (Hayes) Wiepert of Ransomville, NY, who passed away on 14 November 2021.

Mrs. Wiepert served in the US Marine Corps and USMC Reserve from 1969-1973, including over 2 years of active duty from 1969-1971, and in 1973. With MOS's of 0141 & 0151-Administration Clerk, her duty stations included: Headquarters Company, Women's Recruit Training Battalion, Marine Corps Recruit Training Depot, Parris Island, SC; and Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, NC. Mrs. Wiepert was honorably discharged from active duty on 22 June 1973 with the rank of Private First Class (E-2), and she earned the National Defense Service Medal.

As a final act of service, Mrs. Wiepert donated her body to Science.
NOTE: The daughter of Mrs. Wiepert is also a proud Marine Corps Veteran.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

  • While in any outdoor setting, fully vaccinated PGR members will no longer be required to wear masks but are asked to act responsibly and respect your fellow members decision on this issue. For the protection of others, non-vaccinated members are asked to please wear a mask.
  • For the immediate future, all PGR members will continue to wear masks and social distance while indoors during a mission.
  • Masks will be worn at any other location where organizers, requestors or the Lead Ride Captain has determined that this be done.
  • Going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please respect the LRC’s decision on these matters.

Special Information: This will be a short Mission to honor the service of Mrs. Wiepert with a PGR Plaque presentation during the family's Celebration of Life.
Presentation will be at 5:30 PM.
Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American or USMC flag.
