About the Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to safely stand in Honor of the life and service of Larry G. Masocco of Lake View, who passed away on 22 April 2020.

Mr. Masocco served 2 years active duty from 1968-1970 in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. With a MOS of 12B20-Combat Engineer, he served 12 months in Vietnam and was attached to Bravo Co., Special Troops Battalion, U.S. Army Transportation Corps.
Mr. Masocco was Honorably Discharged on 19 June 1970 with the rank of Specialist 4th Class (E-4), he earned the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, 2 Overseas Bars, and Rifle Sharpshooter Badge.

  • * ADDITIONAL MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Wearing a protective face covering of some kind is required...homemade facemask, bandanna, etc. (Patriotic face coverings would be particularly appropriate) This will not only provide an extra layer of protection to ourselves and others but will send the message that the PGR takes this crisis seriously and is performing this Mission responsibly.
Special Information: Flag Line for arrival of the contingent from Lakeside Memorial Funeral Home.
Graveside Burial is scheduled for 2:15 PM.
Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American or U.S. Army flag, and dress for the weather.
It is IMPERATIVE that the PGR comply with all social distancing and face-covering requirements. Please cooperate.
