About the Mission: | The Patriot Guard Riders have been asked by the family to stand in honor of the life and service of WWII veteran George William Schwallie, Sr. George served from 3/16/44 to 2/18/46. He was originally supposed to have been on a ship, headed overseas for combat, but was pulled out at the last minute and was assigned to work on Project One, which involved security clearances and was one of the projects that helped develop advanced guidance systems for torpedo's. Second Stage - Special Information: | Staging will be at graveside at 10:30 AM. The site is in the area called Holy Family and is across the way from the newer mausoleum. The family will arrive sometime after 11 following a service that starts at 10 AM. Please have a clean flag. |
