About the Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to stand in honor of the life and service of Frank A. "Kush" Dzielski of West Seneca, NY who passed away on 20 April 2021.

Mr. Dzielski served 2 years on active duty in the US Army Signal Corps from 1954-1956. His MOS was 723.10-Teletype Operator, and for 18 months he was attached to Delta Company, 32nd Signal Battalion at Cambrai-Fritsch Kaserne, Darmstadt, Germany under V Corps, USAREUR. Mr. Dzielski was honorably discharged from active duty on 29 August 1956 with the rank of Private First Class (E-3), and he earned the Army Good Conduct Medal and Army Occupation Medal (Germany.)

  • ** ADDITIONAL MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Wearing a protective face covering of some kind is required...homemade face-mask, bandanna, etc. (Patriotic face coverings would be particularly appropriate) This will not only provide an extra layer of protection to ourselves and others, but will send the message that the PGR takes this crisis seriously and is performing this Mission responsibly.
Special Information: PGR will provide a flag line for arrival of family. Prayers will be held at 10:15 AM, followed by dignified transfer and escort to St. John Vianney RC Parish, 2950 Southwestern Blvd., Orchard Park, NY for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Following the Mass and dignified transfer, PGR will provide an escort to Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 4000 Elmwood Ave., Buffalo, NY for Interment with Military Honors. (Map to cemetery: https://goo.gl/maps/t2BruwqL2aMWC4eK6)

Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American or US Army flag, dress for the weather, and ensure your large flags are securely attached.
