ABOUT THE MISSION:
We have been requested to stand in Honor of the U.S. Army Service of Francis "Frank" Busalachi, who passed away on August 29th. Mr. Busalachi served a combination of Active and Reserve Army from 1951-1954, including 1-1/2 years Active Duty with the 917th Engineer Aviation Topographic Detachment of the Corps of Engineers. He was Honorably Discharged from Active Duty on 21 September 1953 with the rank of PFC, and from Reserve Duty on 5 April 1954. PFC Busalachi earned the National Defense Service Medal.
