ABOUT THE MISSION:
We have been requested to stand in Honor of WWII Veteran Edward J. Hojnacki of Lake View, NY, who passed away on May 29th. Mr. Hojnacki served in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers from 1943-1946, with an MOS of "Airplane Power Plant Mechanic." He was stationed in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater for 26 months in India with the 9th Engine Overhaul Squadron. His responsibilities included the inspection, maintenance and repair of our aircraft during the War. Mr. Hojnacki was Honorably Discharged on 15 March 1946 with the rank of Corporal, and was awarded the following: Army Good Conduct Medal; American Campaign Medal; Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal; WWII Victory Medal.

Interment with Military Honors.
Please arrive on time with a clean 3x5 American Flag or US Army flag, and dress for the weather.

This is a relatively short but important Mission. Please do whatever you are able to help Honor the WWII Service
of Mr. Hojnacki and to support his loving and proud family.
