Edward F. Sarafin, Sr., Veteran

ABOUT THE MISSION:

We have been requested to stand in Honor of another WWII Hero. Edward F. Sarafin, Sr. passed away on August 21st. He served in the U.S. Army Infantry from 1944-1945, including 5-1/2 months in the European Theater as a Rifleman with Company E, 137th Infantry Regiment, 35th Infantry Division. Mr. Sarafin saw action during the Ardennes Campaign, and was wounded in action on 9 January 1945, resulting in being 100% Disabled for the rest of his life. Mr. Sarafin was Honorably Discharged on 12 September 1945 with the rank of Private, and was awarded a Purple Heart Medal; American Campaign Medal; European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal; WWII Victory Medal.

Dignified Escort to St. Gregory the Great RC Church, 200 St. Gregory Court, Williamsville, NY.
Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M.
Followed by Escort to Forest Lawn Cemetery for Burial with Military Honors.
Please arrive on time with a clean 3x5 American Flag or U.S. Army flag, dress for the weather, and bring a beverage for hydration.
Please ensure your large bike flags are properly placed and securely attached.
Mr. Sarafin made a life-changing sacrifice in Service to our Nation. Please do whatever you're able to assure he receives proper Honors, and that his loving family is supported by us.
