| About the Mission: | The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to stand in honor of the life and service of Captain Thomas J. McGinley of Clarence, NY, who passed away on 26 May 2022. Captain McGinley served for 3 years on active duty in the US Army from 1963-1966, with an Army MOS of 67G20-Multi Engine Airplane Mechanic. His service included 12 months of foreign duty in Korea. His final duty station was with the 3rd Aviation Flight Detachment, Ft. McPherson, Georgia. Captain McGinley was honorably discharged from active duty on 2 September 1966 with the rank of Specialist 5th Class (E-5), and he earned the National Defense Service Medal and M-1 Rifle Marksmanship Badge. Captain McGinley was a member of the Ellicott Creek Volunteer Fire Company. A full obituary is available for viewing online by clicking here |

Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters. |
| Special Information: | PGR will stand with a respectful flag line for arrival of the family and guests. The Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM. Following the service and dignified transfer, PGR will provide an escort to St. Mary's Cemetery, 1 St Mary's Hill, Lancaster, NY 14086 for interment with military honors.
