About the Mission: The PGR has been honored with an invitation to join Congressman Chris Jacobs as he presents the Veteran of the Month Award to this 99 yr old WWII Veteran. Mr. Gerrard, the Honoree, served in the Navy/Coast Guard, and was honorably discharged at the rank of Quartermaster 2nd Class. He served in the Pacific Theater from '42-'45 and earned several medals; American Area Campaign Medal, Adriatic Pacific Area Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Philippine Liberation Medal and Victory Medal.

We will stand an honorable flag line during the ceremony. Please monitor the weather and prepare accordingly. Bring your clean 3x5 American flag and water as it will not be provided.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

  • While in any outdoor setting, fully vaccinated PGR members will no longer be required to wear masks but are asked to act responsibly and respect your fellow members decision on this issue. For the protection of others, non-vaccinated members are asked to please wear a mask.
  • For the immediate future, all PGR members will continue to wear masks and social distance while indoors during a mission.
  • Masks will be worn at any other location where organizers, requestors or the Lead Ride Captain has determined that this be done.
  • Going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please respect the LRC’s decision on these matters.
