About the Mission:

Patriot Guard Riders of NY has been requested by NYS Assemblyman David DiPietro to participate in dedicating a bridge and a road in Wyoming County in honor of two US servicemen.

The bridge to be dedicated at 1:00 PM is located on Route 19 (Main Street), near Dollar General, between Route 20A & Brooklyn Street, Village of Warsaw. Click here for map  This structure will be dedicated in honor of US Marine Corps Sergeant Daniel Murtha, a decorated Vietnam War Veteran and longtime Veteran Advocate who died in 2011 as a result of an ATV accident.  Click here to read his full obituary

The road dedication will take place at 3:00 PM in Orangeville, NY on Route 238 at the corner of Bantam Road. Click here for map.
The road will be dedicated in honor of US Army Vietnam War Veteran Gerald Ramsey, who passed away in 2021 as a result of exposure to Agent Orange.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Updated 8 March 2022

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: NYS Guidelines of 2 March 2022, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.


Special Information:

PGR will provide a respectful flag line during arrival of family and guests, and during both of the dedication ceremonies. Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American, USMC or US Army flag, and dress for the weather.

Thank you for devoting some time to ensure there is a good PGRNY presence at these 2 dedications.
