William J. McCarthy, Veteran

We have been requested to stand in Honor of WWII Veteran William J. McCarthy, who passed away on October 18th. Mr. McCarthy served in the U.S. Army, enlisting in February 1944, and entering Active Duty in January 1945. His MOS was 766-Radio Operator, and his duty station included Headquarters, 136th Radio Section Detachment, Mitchell Field, NY. Mr. McCarthy was Honorably Discharged on 7 September 1946 with the rank of Corporal, and was awarded the Army Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal and WWII Victory Medal.

Followed by Dignified Escort to Mt. Calvary Cemetery for Inurnment with Military Honors at 12:00 P.M.
Please arrive on time with a clean 3x5 American Flag or US Army flag, dress for the weather, and ensure your large bike flags are properly placed and securely attached.
