ABOUT THE MISSION:
We have been requested to stand in Honor of US Army Veteran William F. Sterner of Sanborn, NY who passed away on April 14th. Mr. Sterner served from 1970-1972, and his MOS was 63B20 - Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic. His service included 10 months in Germany with the 88th Heavy Extended Mobility (HEM) Company. Mr. Sterner was Honorably Discharged on 15 January 1972 with the rank of Specialist 4th Class (E-4.) For his Service during the Vietnam Era, SP4 Sterner was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. Mr. Sterner was also a member of the Patriot Guard Riders of NY, Region-1, and the Greater Niagara American Legion Riders Post 1451. He also proudly rode in a 9/11 Memorial Ride to the three crash sites, and participated in the Build Brigade Building Homes for Veterans.
