About the Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to stand in Honor of the life and service of Trevor M. Smith of Lackawana, who passed away on 7 March 2020 at the age of 49.

Mr. Smith served our Nation in the US Army for 3 years active duty from 1989-1992, including 18 months foreign service in Germany and the Korea DMZ. His MOS was 96R10-Ground Surveillance System Operator, and he was attached to the 501st Military Intelligence Brigade. Mr. Smith was Honorably Discharged from active duty on 17 August 1992 with the rank of Specialist 4th Class (E-4), and he earned the following awards: Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Expert Marksmanship Badge-Grenade, and Sharpshooter Marksmanship Badge-M-16 Rifle.

Mr. Smith was a proud Life Member of the Newton Abbott Fire Company, a 6-year member of the Patriot Guard Riders NY, and was a longtime Security Officer at the Buffalo Bills games.

There is no cemetery involved in this Mission.
Note: Fire Department Honors will take place during Calling Hours on Tuesday.
Please arrive on time with a clean 3x5 American, US Army or PGR flag, and dress for the weather.
