ABOUT THE MISSION:
We have been requested to stand in Honor of the U.S. Marine Corps Service of prominent businessman Stephen J. Tomasic of Lackawanna, NY, who passed away on August 22nd. Mr. Tomasic had been serving in the USMC Reserves when he was called to Active Duty on 11 January 1953. He served 2 years, with an MOS of 6413 - Aircraft Communication System Technician. On 10 January 1955 at Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, NC, Mr. Tomasic was Honorably Discharged with the rank of Corporal (E-4) and earned the National Defense Service Medal.
