About the Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to stand in Honor of the life and service of Richard Allen Dean, who passed away on 8 December 2019.

Mr. Dean served almost 4 years active duty in the US Navy from 1950-1954, with a rating of Aerographer's Mate (AG). He served 22 months at the Navy #103 Base in Argentia, Newfoundland, and was Honorably Discharged from active duty on 28 October 1954 with the rank of Petty Office 2nd Class (PO2) (E-5). Mr. Dean earned the Navy Good Conduct Medal and National Defense Service Medal.

  • * ADDITIONAL MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Wearing a protective face covering of some kind is required...homemade facemask, bandanna, etc. (Patriotic face coverings would be particularly appropriate) This will not only provide an extra layer of protection to ourselves and others, but will send the message that the PGR takes this crisis seriously and is performing this Mission responsibly.
Special Information: Flag Line for arrival of family, expected at 11:00.
Memorial Service with Military Honors at 11:15 AM.
There is no escort involved in this Mission.
Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American or US Navy flag, and dress for the weather.
Please be prepared to abide by current social distancing and face covering requirements.
