About the Mission:

The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to stand in honor of the life and service of PVT Tyler Grinnell. PVT Grinnell, age 20, passed away unexpectedly on September 10, 2020, at Ft. Riley Kansas. Private Grinnell enlisted and proudly served as a 19K Tanker. His service included an overseas tour, It is reported that there was nothing that he loved more than serving his Country along side his brothers and sisters in the United States Army.

  • * ADDITIONAL MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Wearing a protective face covering of some kind is required...homemade facemask, bandanna, etc. (Patriotic face coverings would be particularly appropriate) This will not only provide an extra layer of protection to ourselves and others, but will send the message that the PGR takes this crisis seriously and is performing this Mission responsibly.
Special Information:

A Flag line will be assembled at the funeral home for the arrival of the family. Calling hours will be held from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm and a service will follow.

The PGR will escort our hero to his final resting place in Bath National Cemetery, San Juan Ave, Bath, NY 14810. We will be leaving Corning at approximately 1:15 pm. Service with full military honors will be held at 2:00 pm.

For those not able to participate in the escort, please consider forming a flag line, near the flag pole at the top of Cemetery Hill, for the arrival of family. Please be in place no later than 1:45 pm.

Please bring a clean 3X5 American flag or United States Army flag.
