ABOUT THE MISSION:
We have been requested to stand in Honor of the U.S. Army Service of Phillip E. McCanna of Newfane, NY, who passed away on September 1st. Mr. McCanna served for over 2 years from 1960-1962, and was attached to Company D (Walker), 66th Armor Regiment, 2nd Armored Division. His MOS was 131.00- Armor Crewman. Mr. McCanna was Honorably Discharged from active duty on 26 March 1962 with the rank of Specialist 4th Class (E-4.) SP4 McCanna earned: National Defense Service Medal; Marksmanship Badge-Rifle; Expert Badge-90mm Tank Weapon; Sharpshooter Badge-Pistol; Driver & Mechanic Badge w/Driver W Bar.
