ABOUT THE MISSION:
We have been requested to assist in Honoring the exemplary WW-II Service of Norman Naab, Sr., who passed away on April 24th at the age of 92. Mr. Naab served in the U.S. Army Infantry from 1943-1945. He was attached to HQ Company, 85th Mountain Infantry, 10th Mountain Division. His unit was involved in the North Apennines & Po Valley Campaigns in Italy.
Mr. Naab was Honorably Discharged on 17 November 1945 with the rank of PFC. For his courageous Service to our Nation, PFC Naab was awarded: Bronze Star Medal w/Oak Leaf Cluster; Combat Infantryman Badge; Army Good Conduct Medal; American Campaign Medal; European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal w/2 Bronze Campaign Stars; WW-II Victory Medal; Rifle and Pistol Marksman Badges. As a side note, two sons of Mr. Naab, Sr. are proud Army Veterans. Norman Naab, Jr. served '69-'70 with 1st Battalion, 17th Field Artillery on the DMZ in Korea. His brother was 101st Airborne, and served in Vietnam. This Mission will afford the opportunity to thank both of them for their Service.

Members: Friday will be a very challenging day in Region-1 with three (3) Missions. Please do whatever you are able to support one of these equally important Missions.
