ABOUT THE MISSION:
We have been requested to stand in Honor of the Vietnam War Service of Michael Richard "Mike" Straw of Buffalo, who passed away on June 24th. Mr. Straw served proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1966-1970, with an MOS of 2575 - Special Communication Operator. His duty assignment included Headquarters Company, Headquarters Battalion, 1st Marine Division, with almost 3 years service overseas. Mr. Straw was Honorably Discharged on 25 June 2017 with the rank of Sergeant (E-5.) For his Service to our nation, Sgt. Straw was awarded: Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal; National Defense Service Medal; Vietnam Service Medal w/1 Bronze Star; Vietnam Campaign Medal w/Device; RVN Cross of Gallantry w/Palm & Frame; Rifle Marksmanship Badge.

Funeral Service at 7:30, including Military Honors.
No Cemetery, No escort.
Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American Flag or U.S. Marine Corps flag, and dress for the weather.
