About the Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to stand in honor of the life and service of Marc Malinowski, who passed away on 20 July at the age of 49.

Mr. Malinowski served almost 3 years of active duty from 1989-1992, with an MOS of 31C10-Single Channel Radio Operator. He was attached to Company B, 52nd Engineering Battalion, and he served 6 months of foreign duty in Southwest Asia. Mr. Malinowski was honorably discharged on 4 March 1992 with the rank of Private 2nd Class, and he earned the following: National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Southwest Asia Service Medal w/3 Bronze Service Stars, M-16 Rifle Expert Marksmanship Badge.

  • * ADDITIONAL MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Wearing a protective face covering of some kind is required...homemade facemask, bandanna, etc. (Patriotic face coverings would be particularly appropriate) This will not only provide an extra layer of protection to ourselves and others, but will send the message that the PGR takes this crisis seriously and is performing this Mission responsibly.
Special Information: Flag Line for arrival of family and friends.  Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM.  There is no escort involved in this Mission.

Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American or US Army, and dress for the weather. Please be prepared to comply with all local and PGRNY requirements for social distancing and face covering.
