|About the Mission:||The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to stand in honor of the life and service of Leonard J. "Lenny" Peri of Rush, NY who passed away on 27 December 2020.
Mr. Peri served 2 years on active duty in the US Army from 1968-1970, with an MOS of 11D40-Armor Reconnaissance Specialist. He served 12 months in South Vietnam, and was attached to the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment. Mr. Peri was honorably discharged on 19 March 1970 with the rank of Sergeant (E-5), and he earned the following awards: National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, RVN Campaign Medal, 2 Overseas Bars, and M-14 Rifle Expert Badge. Mr. Peri was a member of the Geneseo, NY VFW Post 5005.

|Special Information:||PGR will provide a flag line for arrival of family and friends. Funeral Service is scheduled for 11:00 AM, followed by dignified transfer and escort to Pine Hill Cemetery, Rush-Scottsville Road (Route 251) in Rush, NY for burial with military honors. (NOTE: If you're unable to attend the Livonia portion of this Mission, please consider assembling at the cemetery at approx. 12:00 PM and form a flag line for arrival of the procession.)
Please be prepared with a clean 3x5 American or US Army flag, dress for the weather, and ensure your large flags are securely attached for the escort (approx. 15 miles.)
