About the Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to stand in Honor of the life and service of James T. Kelley, who passed away on 1 February 2020.

Mr. Kelley served a total of 8-1/2 years in the US Navy from 1944-1952, with ratings of Electrician's Mate (EM) and Electrician's Mate-Power & Light (EMP.)
During WW-II he served aboard the landing craft support ship USS LCS (L-3), including participation in the Battle of Okinawa and liberation of the Philippines. During the Korea Conflict, Mr. Kelley served aboard the high-speed transport USS Kleinsmith (APD-134.) Mr. Kelley was Honorably Discharged from active duty on 7 October 1952 with the rank of Petty Officer 2nd Class (PO2) (E-5), and he earned the following awards: American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal w/1 Battle Star, Philippine Liberation Ribbon, WW-II Victory Medal, and National Defense Service Medal.

Mr. Kelley also retired from a career as a Buffalo Firefighter.

There is no cemetery involved in this Mission.
Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American or U.S. Navy flag, and dress for the weather.
We have three (3) Missions in the area on Saturday, please do your best to participate.
