About the Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to stand in Honor of the life and service of Irving C. Cooper of Lakeville, who passed away on 4 October 2020.

Mr. Cooper served 3-1/2 years on active duty in the US Air Force from 1954-1958, with an Air Force Specialty of 65130-Procurement Specialist. He had 15 months of
post-war foreign duty in Korea, and also was attached to the 15th Fighter Group in Niagara Falls. Mr. Cooper was Honorably Discharged from active duty on 13 February 1958 with the rank of Airman 2nd Class, and he earned the Air Force Good Conduct Medal and National Defense Service Medal. Mr. Cooper was an American Legion and VFW member.

  • * ADDITIONAL MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Wearing a protective face covering of some kind is required...homemade facemask, bandanna, etc. (Patriotic face coverings would be particularly appropriate) This will not only provide an extra layer of protection to ourselves and others, but will send the message that the PGR takes this crisis seriously and is performing this Mission responsibly.
Special Information: Flag Line for arrival of family and friends.
Graveside Service at 2:00 PM with Military Honors.
There is no escort involved in this Mission.
Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American or US Air Force flag, and dress for the weather.
