|About the Mission:||The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to stand in honor of the life and service of the Honorable C. Neal Nehrbass of Livonia, who passed away on 13 April 2021.
Mr. Nehrbass served a total of 9 years in the U.S. Army Ready Reserve and U.S. Army National Guard of NY from 1954-1963. His MOS was 111.70-Light Weapons Infantryman, and he was attached to Charlie Company, 174th Armored Infantry Battalion, 27th Armored Division in Medina, NY. Mr. Nehrbass was honorably discharged on 28 February 1963 with the rank of Sergeant First Class (E-7), and he earned the Armed Forces Reserve Medal and Army .45 Cal. Pistol Marksmanship Badge.
Mr. Nehrbass went on to serve for 30 years as the Town of Geneseo, NY Justice of the Peace from 1970-1999. He was also a proud member of the Harrison-Lee American Legion Post #283 in Livonia, NY.

The Mandatory Rules for Covid-19 protection practices...these WILL be strictly enforced.
|Special Information:||The PGR will stand a flag line during calling hours from 1:00-3:00 PM. A brief memorial service is scheduled for 3:00 PM. Following the service, military honors will be rendered in the parking lot outside the funeral home. There is no escort or cemetery involved in this mission.
NOTE: Mr. Nehrbass's daughter Nancy (member of Geneseo VFW/Legion Honor Guard) made arrangements for the PGR plaque to be presented to her father this past February while he was still with us.
Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American or US Army flag, and dress for the weather.
