About the Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to stand in Honor of the Military career of Henry P. Valerych of Oakfield, who passed away on Christmas Day 2019.

Mr. Valerych served 2 years in the US Navy before enlisting in the US Army, and went on to serve over 20 years active duty, including foreign service in Korea and Germany. With an MOS of 76K50-General Supply Specialst, Mr. Valerych attained the rank of Master Sergeant (E-8) before his Honorable retirement on 30 September 1966. He earned 4 awards of the Army Good Conduct Medal and 2 Awards of the National Defense Service Medal for service during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Prayer Service at the FH at 11:30 am.
Followed by Dignified Transfer and escort to Resurrection Parish, 303 East Main Street, Batavia.
Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 pm.
Followed by escort to St. Joseph's Cemetery for Burial with Military Honors.
Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American or US Army flag, and dress for the weather.
