About the Mission: The family of Marine Captain George Turner have respectfully requested the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the Memorial Service of this American Hero.

Mr. Turner was commissioned as a US Marine Corps officer on 12 June 1951, and was called up from inactive duty on 24 June 1951. Between reserve and active duty, Mr. Turner gave over 5 years of service to our Nation, including 10 months service in Korea. He was Honorably Discharged on 12 June 1954 with the rank of Captain (O-3), and he earned the National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Service w/3 Bronze Service Stars, and the United Nations Service Medal-Korea.

Special Information: We will form a flag line a 2:30PM as family and guests arrive for the Memorial Service.
The service will start at 3:00 pm with Military Honor at 4:00 pm.  A reception will follow.

I anticipate we will stand down after the Military Honors have been rendered.

If we have a Marine Veteran in our ranks, please step-follow to carry the Marine flag. (I will provide the flag and pole)
Please provide a clean 3x5 American flag and proper pole. (Please no 3 piece metal poles) Dress for the weather as we will be forming outside and move inside once the Honor Guard begins the ceremony. Any questions please me contact Ride Captain.
