About the Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to stand in Honor of the life and service of WW-II Veteran George Sedor, who passed away on 21 October 2020.

Mr. Sedor served over 2 years on active duty with the Army Corps of Engineers from 1944-1946, including 10-1/2 months in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater of Operations. With a MOS of 359-Construction Machine Operator, Mr. Sedor was attached to the 1689th Engineer Combat Battalion. He was Honorably Discharged on 6 May 1946 with the rank of Technician 5th Grade (Corporal), and he earned the following awards: Army Good Conduct Medal; American Campaign Medal; Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal; Philippine Liberation Medal; Army of Occupation Medal-Japan; WW-II Victory Medal, Driver & Mechanic Badge; Carbine Expert badge; Rifle Sharpshooter Badge.

  • * ADDITIONAL MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Wearing a protective face covering of some kind is required...homemade facemask, bandanna, etc. (Patriotic face coverings would be particularly appropriate) This will not only provide an extra layer of protection to ourselves and others, but will send the message that the PGR takes this crisis seriously and is performing this Mission responsibly.
Special Information: Form a flag line for the arrival of family and friends.
Graveside service with Military Honors at 11:30 AM.
Please arrive on time with a clean 3x5 American or US Army flag, and dress for the weather.
RC Pat Jordan will lead this mission in honor of his good friend's father.
