About the Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to stand in honor of the life and service of George J. Bogold, Jr. of Angola, NY who passed away on 17 February 2021.

Military information is incomplete, but we know Mr. Bogold served Honorably in the US Army on active duty for 2 years from 1951-1953 during the Korean War.

IMPORTANT

  • * If you are not feeling well in any way, please do not attend this Mission.
  • ** ADDITIONAL MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Wearing a protective face covering of some kind is required...homemade face-mask, bandanna, etc. (Patriotic face coverings would be particularly appropriate) This will not only provide an extra layer of protection to ourselves and others, but will send the message that the PGR takes this crisis seriously and is performing this Mission responsibly.
Special Information: PGR will provide a flag line for arrival of family and friends.
Funeral service at the Funeral Home is scheduled for 11:00 AM.
Due to COVID-19, there is a 50 person restriction at Lakeside Cemetery. Military Honors will be rendered at the funeral home.
Please be flexible with your time in case things change over the weekend, making it possible for PGR to proceed to the cemetery.
Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American or US Army flag, and dress for the weather.
