ABOUT THE MISSION:
We have been requested to stand in Honor of U.S Army Vietnam War Veteran David C. Hunt, who passed away on January 22nd. Mr. Hunt served from 1966-1968, including 2 tours in Vietnam ('67-'68) with 2nd Squadron, 1st Cavalry Regiment, 4th Infantry Division, headquartered in Plieku, and serving in the Central Highlands, seeing action in multiple locations. His MOS was 11D - Armor Intel Specialist. David C. Hunt was Honorably Discharged on 10 August 1968 with the rank of Private First Class (E-3). For his Service to our Nation, PFC Hunt was awarded: Purple Heart Medal; Army Commendation Medal; Combat Infantryman's Badge; Army Good Conduct Medal; National Defense Service Medal; Vietnam Service Medal w/2 Bronze Stars; Vietnam Campaign Medal; 2 Overseas Bars.
