|About the Mission:||The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to stand in honor of the life and service of David A. Miller of Tonawanda, who passed away on 15 April 2020 at the age of 71.
Mr. Miller served 19 months on active duty in the US Army from 1970-1972, including 12 months in Vietnam. His MOS was 57F20-Memorial Activities Specialist, and he was attached to a Mortuary Unit at Headquarters & Headquarters Company, Quartermaster Service Brigade. Mr. Miller received an 18-month early release from active duty in order to join the 1st Battalion, 391st Regiment (CST), 98th Division Army National Guard. For his service in Vietnam, Mr. Miller earned the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/2 Bronze Service Stars, and Vietnam Campaign Medal. Mr. Miller was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 77.

Dignified transfer and KSU at 8:35 for an escort to Saint Amelia Catholic Church, 210 St. Amelia Drive (off Eggert Road), Tonawanda, NY 14150
Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 AM.
Followed by escort to Mt. Olivet Cemetery for Interment with Military Honors.
Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American or US Army flag, dress for the weather, and ensure your large flags are attached securely.
Please be prepared to comply with all PGRNY and local protocols and requirements for social distancing and face covering.
