ABOUT THE MISSION:

On 5 July 2017 the PGR provided a Flag Line at Almond Union of Churches at the Memorial Service for U.S. Navy Veteran Byron Russell Hill, Jr.
We will now complete the Mission by escorting Mr. Hill and his family to Bath National Cemetery for Interment.
As a reminder: Mr. Hill served 10 years Active Duty in the U.S. Navy, from 1983-1992. His service included 3 years aboard the USS Coral Sea (CV-43) as an Electricians Mate, as well as service at the Naval Submarine Support Facility, New London, CT. Mr. Hill was Honorably Discharged on 15 December 1992 with the rating of Electricians Mate First Class (EM1) (E-6.) For his Service to our Nation, EM1 Hill's awards include: Two Navy Good Conduct Medals; National Defense Service Medal; Two Navy Unit Commendation Awards; Navy Expeditionary Medal; Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal; Two Sea Service Deployment Ribbons; Naval Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist Badge; Letter of Commendation.

Escort leaves at 9:45 AM.
Interment Service at Bath National Cemetery is at 11:00.
Please be prepared with a clean 3x5 American Flag or U.S. Navy flag, and dress for the weather.
Please ensure your large bike flags are properly placed and securely attached for the 28-mile escort at highway speeds.
NOTE: For Region-2 Members: If you are unable to participate in the Escort, please consider providing a Flag Line at Bath National Cemetery for arrival of the contingent.

Flags Will NOT Be Provided, Please Bring Your Own.
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water WILL NOT be provided, please bring your own.
