About the Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been requested to stand in Honor of the life and service of US Air Force Veteran Alec R. Jones, who tragically passed away at the age of 29 as the result of motorcycle accident in Cheektowaga this Sunday, 27 September 2020.

Mr. Jones served 2 years, 9 months on active duty from 2012-2014, with an Air Force Specialty of 3P051-Security Forces. He was attached to the 412th Security Forces Squadron. Honorably Discharged on 28 November 2014 with the rank of Airman First Class (E-3), Mr. Jones earned the following awards: National Defense Service Medal; Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and the Air Force Training Ribbon.

Please Note: The parents of Alec Jones - Jack & Jackie - have been PGRNY members from Suffolk County in Region-9. Alec's father recently changed her membership to Region-1.

  • * ADDITIONAL MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Wearing a protective face covering of some kind is required...homemade facemask, bandanna, etc. (Patriotic face coverings would be particularly appropriate) This will not only provide an extra layer of protection to ourselves and others, but will send the message that the PGR takes this crisis seriously and is performing this Mission responsibly.
Special Information: Flag Line for arrival of family.
The family will have some private time with their loved one from 1:30 - 2:30 PM.
The US Air Force Honor Guard and PGRNY will participate in Military Honors and Plaque presentation at 2:40 PM.
This will end the PGR Mission.
(Family calling hours will be from 3:00-7:00 PM)
Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American or US Air Force flag, and dress for the weather.
